Ain't no Sunshine Response #1

Ain't no sunshine when he's gone
It's not warm when he's away
Ain't no sunshine when he's gone
And he's always gone to long
anytime he goes away

I wonder, this time where he's gone
Wonder, how long he's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when he's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime he goes away.

And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know

I know when he's gone
always gone too long
anytime he goes away
anytime he goes away
anytime he goes hmmm

Song: Ain't no Sunshine
Artist: Eva Cassidy
Writer: Bill Withers (1971)
Melody: The melody was pretty sad, mellow and decadent.
Form: The song was a ballad.
Instrumentation: Two guitars, one piano and one bass.
In my opinion, the song is about how the singer misses her lover. The days she spends without him are lonely and dull. I like this song because it has a peaceful melody. It doesn't have a lot of high-strung energy like some other songs do, and it is very relaxing because of it's calm melody.
